More About: Marianne has always had an affinity for the stage, from singing as a child in Montreal to years of piano in Georgia and countless high school theatre productions. After attending an FNDP in Athens as a high schooler, Marianne vowed to seek out more ballroom dance opportunities if she ended up attending UGA. She is so grateful for the three years she has spent with BPG for allowing her to explore a new style of dance while meeting fantastic people and taking a much-needed break from studying. When she's not dancing, you can find Marianne giving campus tours at UGA, meal prepping methodically in her kitchen, or providing GED tutoring at the local Athens prison. She plans to work in education and hopes her future classrooms will be filled with dancing, self-expression, and joy!
