Alexis is a 4th year doctoral student in the college of public health. After going to UGA for her undergrad and master’s she’s going for a hat trick with a PhD in Health Promotion and Behavior and certificates in qualitative studies and women’s studies. It’s certainly a good thing she decided to sell her soul, I mean, dedicate her life to grad school, since she only started dancing in her last year of undergrad. Ballroom dancing became a wonderful hobby throughout her years in grad school and also the final tether to a functional social life. In the times she’s not teaching, studying, or dancing, catch Alexis juggling all her D&D campaigns, getting tattoos (Mom, don’t read this), or going feral over when coffee shops will have pumpkin spice flavoring back in stock.
